A song of sadness, about the refugees and those who care about them. I didn't plan to write it, and it's a little scary to share, cos it's such a big painful subject. And yet, I am a writer, and this is how my heart speaks sometimes. May these words bring a depth of feeling and compassion to all who hear.

I -as I'm sure many of us are- am deeply affected by the refugee situation in Europe. I think it's insane that our leaders are so obsessed with their invented borders that people are dying while the politicians avoid helping.

We are all ONE FAMILY sharing ONE EARTH, we've got to do this together!

Happily, there are also many beautiful stories of hope, like in Germany where people are welcoming refugees with open arms, and I know many who are taking steps to support those in need. There is light in the world, and I am so grateful for this!

This song asked to be sung, I hope that it helps in some small way.
